Using the horse rescue for our executive off-site was one of the most impactful team experiences we’ve had. The setting naturally pulled everyone out of their normal work mindset and into a space that felt real, grounded, and focused. Being around the horses created opportunities for honest communication, leadership reflection, and teamwork in a way a conference room never could. We were also able to use the horses to demonstrate powerful leadership lessons showing how energy, trust, clarity, and consistency directly influence outcomes. It was a refreshing reminder that great growth doesn’t always happen in traditional settings. If you’re looking for an off-site that builds connection, perspective, and meaningful conversations, we would highly recommend it.

We are both long time horse owners and trail riders and decided this Mother's Day we would support the THR at this event. We spent the day with others who attended, including D J and Mike the owners (Mike is an awesome cook), Andres their go to for everything there and Barbara their long time-full time volunteer. It was a beautiful day, the brunch was awesome and meeting the horses and riding were well worth the donation cost. All of the money going towards feeding the horses. I myself met two horses that I would have adopted immediately if I didn't already have two of my own and another coming to stay in June. I took some photos and I'm the one who is getting a kiss from Prince and my friend Debbie hugging hers. Do go soon...for an event or volunteering or adopting a precious horse, donkey or mule. Remember these animals and D J and Mike need your support so should you not be able to go there please donate any financial help that you can afford. Every dollar helps these horses get the care they need and healthy food to eat. It runs about $350 per month per horse to take care of each one. Hay, ferrier and vet costs are rising every day. Thanks to all there and to all of you who decide to donate whatever you can afford. My best regards, Susan
