In Memoriam
As of April 2026, We have saved 102 horses, mules, donkeys, and ponies. Some came to us in desperate need of medical attention, and for many, the kindest gift we could offer was to bring them directly to a veterinarian for humane euthanasia. These decisions are never easy, but they are made with love and in the best interest of the animal. Rescue is not simply saving—it is often about picking up the broken pieces of a life and doing what is right, not what is easy. We take that responsibility to heart. Through rehabilitation and, whenever possible, rehoming, we strive to educate our community about the precious lives at stake and our shared responsibility to provide proper care, dignity, love, and compassion. It is our hope that with every life we save, we inspire more people to join us in our mission—to care for life, to protect, and to cherish. Please join us. Share our story, share their story. Spend time at the ranch. Help us build a place of safety, of healing, and of legacy—a place where abuse and despair are replaced by hope and love.
Honoring Their Legacy: A Tribute to Our Rescued Horses
Help us honor the lives of the horses we have rescued who have since passed, each one leaving behind a legacy of love, courage, and resilience. The most meaningful way you can join us in this mission is by giving your most valuable possession—your time—through visits, volunteering, and sharing in their memory. If you are unable to be here in person, please consider giving from the heart in other ways: donations of supplies, referrals, and financial support all allow us to continue this important work of rescue, care, and compassion in their honor.
